A Passion for Children

Over half of my 34-year career was spent in public school classrooms teaching children at the elementary level, with the remaining years in administrative positions (curriculum facilitator, assistant principal and principal). Witnessing the struggles that so many faced on a daily basis served to intensify my passion for the plight of children and families.

Though no parent gets it right 100% of the time I, along with others at this stage in life, look back at mistakes made and lament, "If I'd only known then what I know now."  It was that lingering thought that fueled my decision to become a Certified Leadership Parenting Coach (CLPC) with the John Rosemond Leadership Parenting Institute. Coaching enables me to stay abreast of current child-rearing issues and affords the opportunity to offer what I hope is meaningful, constructive, advice based on years of personal and professional experience.

As a parent and grandparent, I continue to pursue my passion through coaching, presentations and writing. My goal for Parent With Confidence is to provide thought-provoking articles for parents on a variety of topics relating to children. I'd love to hear from you and welcome you to invite others to subscribe to this free website .

Sincerely,

Sharon Lamberth
